Most of us mere mortals however must insure that our musical instruments are tuned with some assistance!  A metronome produces a steady pulse or beat to help musicians play rhythms precisely. The pulses are typically measured in beats per minute or in BPM.  Metronome help the student maintain a recognized tempo while practicing and learning difficult sections. While metronomes vary in range, most includes ranges of 35 to 250 BPM.
