‘50s Stratocaster

’50s Esquire 

If you were offered your choice of Fenders which would you choose? After all how can you choose between equally perfect choices?  The Esquire is without question one of the most popular guitars in the Fender Telecaster family.

When it was first introduced in 1950, its unique design created a tonal impression which remains to this day. A number of famous rock stars included in their arsenal and would never to go battle without it! It remains in the hands of many great players to this day.

The Esquire model boasts an ash body, a C-shaped maple neck, and a vintage-style single coil Telecaster pickup. This pick up includes the well known custom wired three-way switching feature. Three-way switching on a single-pickup guitar provides three preset tones.

‘50s Telecaster

Few guitars shaped more styles of music in the ’50s and ’60s than Fender’s Telecaster model. This guitar was as the heart of many a popular music group and still remains a favorite with many old and new bands. Telecaster’s retain two single-coil Alnico pickups, vintage look bridges and knurled chrome knobs that made them classics in their own day. Like their Esquire cousins, they sport an ash body, a maple fingerboard and neck, not to mention their single-ply white pickguard. With these features its clear why Fender musical instruments retain their reputation, value, and sheer beauty.
